As chief financial officer of Cook Maran, Marc Fishstein is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, planning, budgeting and analysis, and is also a member of both the executive committee and board of directors.
Prior to joining Cook, Hall & Hyde in 2003, which would later merge with Maran Corporate Risk Associates to create Cook Maran & Associates in 2012, Mark was vice president of planning for Fireman’s Fund McGee. There, he was a key member of senior management and responsible for developing and implementing operating and financial plans, budgeting and analysis. Before its 1999 acquisition by Fireman’s Fund McGee, Marc was treasurer/controller at Wm. H. McGee & Co. Inc., where his responsibilities included internal and external reporting, financial planning and budgeting.
After graduating with a B.S. in accounting from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, Marc earned his CPA while working at Coopers and Lybrand in New York, where he gained extensive audit and tax experience in various industries including insurance, banking and small business.
Marc is married with four children and enjoys coaching baseball and softball as well as playing golf in his spare time.Our Team Directory
