As executive director, Kevin Arnstein oversees the benefits department of Cook Maran and assists clients in navigating the changing healthcare legislative landscape and other benefits challenges. He is also a member of the Cook Maran executive committee, as well as the board of directors.
Kevin previously served as the managing director of Cook, Hall & Hyde, which he joined when the firm merged with Arnone, Lowth, Fanning, Wilson, Nuzzi & Arnstein Benefits Group, LLC, in 2003. The Group was formed five years earlier through the merger and expansion of Leo and Arnstein Associates, Inc., an employee benefits and personal insurance company Kevin formed in 1990.
Before forming his own agency, he was director of sales at Blue Cross, where Kevin first began his career in 1978 as a marketing representative.
Kevin is a certified health consultant and holds New York State life and health insurance licenses, as well as Series 6 and 63 licenses. A member of the Suffolk County Life Underwriters Association, he has also served on numerous insurance agency advisory committees, including Guardian, Blue Cross, Aetna and Oxford. Kevin is frequently sought after as a speaker on a range of topics—from the latest trends in employee benefits to new legislation—and has been a lecturer in continuing education programs for professionals.
Born and raised in New York, he received his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Dalhousie University and a master’s degree in public health and administration from the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University. Kevin, who has four children with his wife, Patricia, is an active member of his parish and community, previously served as president of Holy Family School in Hicksville and was also a Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) board member.Our Team Directory
